United States of Africa - By all Means - Yes
With all due respect -Africans rely and expects foreigners to solve their problems. Acknowledging and recognition of others is a good thing but Africans need to quit begging like a dog and expecting others to solve their problems. This is one of the reasons why Africans failed and made mistakes in the past as well as today.
Africans already know what need to be done and with Africans rich resources they can accomplish their task and solve their AID problems, as well as other diseases, build the infrastructure of Africa and do away with corruption, Turn heir economy around and completely revive their political institutions. They can do this but African depends too much on Foreign aid and Foreigners to solve their problems. If Africans thinks that the election of Obama as President of the Untied States will bring Christmas presents of Foreign aid, then they may be disappointed.
Take a look at the U.S. economy - today. Do you think Obama will be able to bring Christmas presents of foreign aid to Africa? Africa will probably not get all the foreign aid that former president Clinton and President Bush promise. This in itself should tell Africans to learn not to depend on foreign aid. Africa is rich enough to do without anyone foreign aid. But it can not be done as separate - independent countries.
Just look at the past; what did that foreign aid accomplish? NOTHING. And in the future - it will also accomplish NOTHING. You want to know why? Or, do you care? Africans can not solve their problems as individual Countries. It just will not work.
The catch is - that Africans can not accomplish the above by being separate and independent countries. It just can not be done that way. It is impossible. And, this is what I tried to emphasize so much in my voice for Africa Campaign - with emphasis on my proposal entitled “An Africa Mandate 2008 - Forging A Nation,” and letter as well to Obama. As you will note, I emphasize and encourage the need for Africans to support and take the necessary measures to establish the creation of An United States of Africa at the January, 2009 Africa Union Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Thank you,
